Hunter x Hunter – Full Color — {Official TL*} (EN) [Gondo]

This version of Hunter x Hunter is edited using the Official Viz translation as a base with improvements throughout, along with all sfx translated.

There’s so many changes that it’s impossible to keep track of all of them but here are some notable aspects:

• • In volumes 1-2 the all the Japanese SFX are redrawn but past that sometimes it is just translated as a note.
  • Some characters may have a different color scheme to what was in the original colored version as I personally prefer them. Including but not limited to:
    • Hisoka
    • Beans
    • Kite
    • Lippo
  • Clean volume covers are used with no branding on them.
  • A diamond is added to all the chapter titles to be more faithful to the original ones.
  • Many translation changes are made as the Viz translation at times can be wildly different and made up compared to what was intended. On some occasions they’ve left out sfx and text entirely.
  • Sfx has been revised in some areas in both translation and aesthetics compared to Viz.
